Agricultural Products
Glencore's Agricultural Products business group is composed of the following main commodities:
Glencore and its subsidiaries originate and market wheat, corn, barley, rice, oilseeds, meals, edible oils, biodiesel and sugar. These commodities are purchased from mills, refineries, regional merchants, silo companies, cooperatives and, in some countries, directly from farmers.
This activity is supported by significant investments by Glencore subsidiaries in storage, processing and handling infrastructure. The marketing of agricultural commodities is largely operated out of our offices in London and Rotterdam.
