We are seeking passionate Metallurgical Technicians to join our solutions team in Santiago. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with advanced flotation technology and contribute to the development and implementation of Jameson Cells, with additional exposure to IsaMill and Albion technologies. Your role will primarily encompass training and supporting site teams with Jameson Cell test work completed on mine sites and in laboratories, commissioning our technologies and supporting the senior solutions metallurgist and clients on planning and interpretation of test work. You will report directly to the senior solutions metallurgist for your region. The role includes significant domestic and international travel away from home up to 60-80% of the time.  The role also involves the requirement to work at mine site elevations of up to 5000 m so you must be able to work at these elevations.  

RESPONSABILITIES

• Design, oversee, and assist with test work programs on mine sites and laboratories.
• Ongoing support to technology users and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical assistance and training for commissioning.
• Identification of continuous improvement opportunities.

 


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• +5 years’ experience operating flotation circuits on a mine site or at a laboratory
• Experience with Jameson cell technology would be preferred
• Additional experience in grinding, stirred milling, and hydrometallurgy is advantageous
