Product Safety

Glencore is committed to regulatory compliance with respect to our traded or manufactured products. Our product safety procedures give our customers and supply chain service providers the necessary guidance and information to allow safe transport, handling and use our products and intermediates. Glencore works closely with suppliers, customers and trade associations in each of its respective operating areas in order to ensure that our product safety programme is up to date and provides accurate advice to our customers.

Safety Datasheets (SDS) play a central role in our product safety communication. To ensure that SDS are readily available for our customers and service providers we developed a SDS Push system that is currently in use across our entire product portfolio and customer base. As SDS Push is linked to our marketing systems, customers and service providers obtain timely documentation to enable safe transport, handling and use.
