Coordinator (Raw Materials) – C5

In this role you will be responsible for:

• 
  The successful candidate will report to the Superintendent (Plant).
• Strong leadership and people skills with proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ensuring the adherence to safety standards by all personnel in the Raw Materials Department.
• Ensuring training needs of all subordinates are identified and staff development plans are implemented
• Develop an effective team to manage and operate the department
• Ensuring costs are controlled and waste eliminated
• Ensuring that all equipment/machinery used are in a safe and good working condition
• Planning and Manage all Logistics on the UG2 Sites
• Ensure that all material meets client’s quality standards
• Conduct plant inspections
• Stockpile Management and stockpile surveying is conducted
• Compile accurate reports and presentations for Internal and External Parties
• Ensuring high level of discipline in the department
• Ensuring daily reports are sent out on time to all internal and external parties
• Ensuring effective communication and networking with all relevant departments
• Prepare the Month-end reports
• Perform Standby Duties
• Valid Driver’s License

 

About you:

 

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Logistics or relevant equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP & MES
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Raw Material environment
• Supervisory skills
• Good understanding of the HSEC
• Coupa knowledge
• Detailed and accurate approach
• Medically fit to work on surface
