I’m Khensani Baloi, and I’m Cost Accountant from Soshanguve.

I completed the Glencore graduate programme, and I found a place to grow and learn afterjoining their Rhovan Mine. I transitioned from an audit background and entered the challenging yet fulfilling world of mining finance.

I quickly saw how Glencore values learning and development, encouraging me to understand every part of the business, from mining processes to financial management. This hands-on experience has been vital.

I spent time in each department, asked countless questions, and learned directly from the experts on-site. This immersive approach helped me overcome every learning curve.

I’m almost done with my Chartered Accountant Board exam to qualify as a CA(SA), and I know this is just the beginning. I plan to continue growing in the financial sector, eager to learn more and take on new challenges. My advice? Don’t limit your ambitions. Take every opportunity to learn from those around you, it will make you a well-rounded professional.
