I’m Zinhle Mothibi from Middelburg. Growing up, I was determined to make a difference.

Fuelled by determination and a supportive community, I was able to join special programmes in high school funded by local mining companies, which enabled me to excel in Math and Accounting. This sparked a passion in me for finance, leading me to pursue Accounting at the University of Pretoria.

After graduation, I landed a spot in Glencore’s Professionals in Training programme, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience. Through hard work and perseverance, I rose through the ranks, securing a permanent role as Finance Manager at Glencore’s Goedgevonden Complex.

Today, I drive financial excellence, champion cost-effective operations, and develop innovative reporting systems. I’m also dedicated to paying it forward, mentoring aspiring professionals and empowering the next generation to achieve their dreams.

I believe that with determination and community support, we can transform lives.
