In this role you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and adhering to the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• The successful candidate will be reporting to the artisan (Electrician) for operational and functional duties
• The successful candidate will support Artisan with daily maintenance and breakdowns of all equipment and machinery to ensure smooth, sufficient operations underground
• The successful candidate should be able to work independently from time to time.
• Perform all duties instructed by supervisor/ manager from time to time which may not be related to job functions.

 

About you:

• Grade 12
• Full N2 certificate
• Artisan Aid Competency will be advantageous
• Three (3) years’ experience in a mining underground environment
• Medically fit to work underground.
