Artisan (Fitter)

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure that all SAP PM and MM requirements be met for the        

. Mechanical engineering section.

. Assisting the engineering department with maintenance related requirements. 

. Good knowledge and experience on Plant systems.

. Capturing and updating of routine reports and meet any ad hoc office duties. 

. The candidate will be reporting to the Engineering Coordinator for operational and functional duties.

. Must have experience on Warman pumps and conveyor belts.

. Planned maintenance system inspection.

 

About you:

. Grade 12 and N2 Qualification

. Valid Trade Test (Section 13) or (Section 26D)

. Portfolio of Evidence (POE)/SETA statement of results/learnership agreement in support of the trade.

. Good knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and relevant Legislation.

. At least 2 years’ experience as an Artisan in a Mining/Plant environment.

. Knowledge of HSEC system

. Good communication skills.

. Code 08 licence and own transport (willing to travel between sites)

. Medically fit to work on surface, working at heights and in confined spaces.
