Bongani Thabethe

I'm Bongani Thabethe, a coach from Phola, Witbank. My team, the Chakalaka Future Stars, plays under the eMalahleni Football Association.

In 2014, I took the leap into coaching and started in the eMalahleni LFA. Now, thanks to the partnership between Glencore and the LFA, my journey has reached new heights.

Through Glencore's sponsorship of the Commfoot program, I received training and skills that improved my coaching; as a result, my team has climbed to rank third in the area. I take pride in the respect my team has for me and the progress they've made.
