Glencore has today published the latest edition of its Ethics and Compliance Report. This report provides a comprehensive overview of our Ethics and Compliance Programme (Programme), detailing our approach, governance and structure, including our various processes and systems, as well as the updates we have made during the past year.

Our Ethics and Compliance Programme is designed to deliver on our Group-wide commitment to responsible business practices and support responsible and ethical decision-making at every level of the business.

Kalidas Madhavpeddi, Chairman, notes “The Board and senior management are focused on ensuring we uphold responsible business practices and maintaining an effective compliance programme is an important element to support this.”

Nicola Leigh, Head of Compliance, adds “While we believe we now have a mature programme, we recognise it will not remain effective if it is static. The compliance landscape is also very dynamic, particularly in the current complex geopolitical environment, and an effective compliance programme needs to evolve in response to business needs and ongoing developments.”

We encourage our stakeholders to review this year’s report to learn more about the initiatives we have undertaken. We will continue to provide updates on our Programme in our annual reporting suite and on our website as part of our efforts to maintain transparency and accountability and keep our stakeholders informed.
