Child labour risk assessment in our goods and services supply chain

We have undertaken a global risk assessment of our sourcing in regions or countries that we identified as having high child labour risk. This focused approach differed from our usual responsible sourcing risk assessments that look at a ‘basket’ or combination of human rights risks.

The assessment findings improved our understanding of sourcing risk by identifying suppliers in these areas. This has enabled us to continuously focus our resources on a risk basis. Where we identified areas of elevated risk, we implement enhanced due diligence, face-to-face supplier training, supplier audits and supplier capacity building.
