Artisan Aid (Fitter)

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to the Engineering Coordinator
• Assisting the Artisan (Fitter) with breakdowns and maintenance of equipment according to standards
• Identifying faults within the section and reporting to the Artisan (Fitter)
• Assisting with section inspections
• Ensuring achievement of sustainable production targets through executing delegated tasks
• Ensuring compliance to the company’s policies and procedures

About you:

• Grade 12/Technical Grade 12
• N2 qualification (full four subjects one being theory)/Applicable Aide certificate
• Previous experience in the mining environment as an Artisan Aid (Fitter)
• Medical fitness
