In this role you will be responsible for:
- The incumbent will report to the shift supervisor and be responsible for all functions relating to the position Operator (Plant)Snr
- The role’s purpose is to monitor operation of PGM plant and ensure production targets are met or exceeded, must be able to decide and initiate action
- Operating the Flotation plant and thickeners.
- Conducting reagents and density checks
- Unblocking slurry tanks, pipes and pumps when required
- Taking production Samples
- Performing general housekeeping
- Ability to function independently, good communication skills
- Must be willing to work rotational shifts (Fulco)
- Compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential
- Ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and the company standards/policies
About you:
- Grade 12
- Two (2) years plant working experience
- Previous experience in PGM recovery plant or similar process
- Achieving Personal work goal and objectives
- Computer Literacy
- Medical fitness for working on heights
