In this role you will be responsible for:
- The maintenance and repairs for all types of surface and underground trackless mobile machines
- The position will provide specialist maintenance support to the mine for the achievement of the production performance levels
- Above average and effective care and maintenance of all equipment within the specific area of responsibility.
- Effective administration of necessary systems
- Accurate and timeous completion of assignments (results driven)
About you:
- Grade 12
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Full N2 certificate (Full four subjects Including relevant trade theory)
- Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) / SETA statement of results / Learnership agreement in support of the trade.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a mining environment as an Artisan (Diesel Mechanic)
- Medically fit to work underground
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
