In this role you will be responsible for:
- Provision of both technical and business process support to the Maintenance and Operations Departments
- Ensure the Effective and Efficient Execution of the Work Management Process
- Continuously improve equipment reliability including project planning and delivery of reliability improvement projects
- Conduct technical and process audits around maintenance
- People Management
- Ensure the effective administration of necessary system/s
- Support the overall business management of the Engineering Department
- Compliance to Glencore Ferro Alloys and Eastern Mines Standards and Procedures
About you:
- Grade 12 (Technical)/N3
- Trade Test Certificate
- NQF Level 6 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Driver’s license and own transport
- Seven (7) years’ post qualification experience in the mining environment
- Five (5) years’ experience as an Engineering Coordinator in the mining environment
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite, Project, and SAP)
- Good communication skills & attention to detail
- Knowledge of PLC’s and ability to read PnID’s
- Be able to meet daily and monthly deadlines
- Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations
