An exciting opportunity has become available at Hail Creek for an experienced CHPP Operator Maintainer (Electrical/Mechanical/Operator) to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the team and reporting directly to the CHPP Supervisor, this multifaceted role will see you providing safe and efficient operation of our fixed plant asset and loadout facility, performing regular maintenance tasks and improvement works within the CHPP. Additionally, you will be required to operate stockpile dozers to manage our product coal for stacking and reclaiming operations, loading product coal onto trains, leveraging your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues.
To be successful in this role, you are a savvy, results driven and resilient character, hold extensive experience in a similar role and a passion for exceptional service delivery and continuous improvement. You will be a team player with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team, by utilising resources to optimise equipment availability.

This role is a wonderful opportunity for you no matter your circumstance. You will have the option to either live locally in one of the communities that surround our operation or stay on site in our amazing village. We are only a one and quarter hour drive from the beautiful Mackay hinterland and a two- and half-hour drive from Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands and have a diverse group of people at our operation commuting from multiple locations in Queensland such as Rockhampton and Townsville, to name a few.
