Collinsville Open Cut is located approximately 160km from Airlie Beach in Queensland, a town known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef. Producing both metallurgical and thermal coal for the export market, the surface mine has a long life and is transitioning from a dragline strip to a truck and shovel terrace operation.

Reporting to the OCE, the Mineworker will provide safe and efficient operation of heavy earthmoving equipment to meet mine production and organisational targets.

Opportunities are currently available for competent and experienced multi-skilled operators to fill positions across our open cut site.
Demonstrated commitment safety, contributing to an environmentally healthy workplace.
Maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with site procedures.
Sound technical knowledge.

About you:

Skilled Excavator, Dozer, Grader, Loader, Water Truck and/or Haul Truck Operator.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of risk management and safe work practices.
Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
