Job Description

Reporting to the Environment and Community Manager, the Senior Environment and Community Adviser will provide strong leadership skills, technical advice, and manage environmental and community stakeholders, groups, and events.

In this role you will be responsible for:
• Providing leadership to drive excellence in environment and community engagement.
• Provide Technical advice and operational support.
• Onsite environmental and Community Stakeholder activities across the underground, surface and CHPP areas.
• Offsite stakeholder management activities.
• Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Planning and implementation of land disturbance, pest control, auditing systems and performance monitoring.
• Initiatives to progress responsible mining.
• Organising and facilitating community reference groups, events, forums, and partnership projects.

• High organisational, target based abilities.
• You will be able to demonstrate your commitment to a high performing safety culture.
• Relevant tertiary education.
• Previous experience in the industry.
• High levels of interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
