Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Planner, the Maintenance Planner will be a highly detail-oriented individual. This role is responsible for developing both short- and long-term maintenance plans, maximising operation profit, equipment reliability and availability and collaboration with supervisors and area coordinators

About the Role:

  • Hydraulic excavator short-term planning.
  • Developing both short and long-term maintenance plans on new and existing assets.
  • Maximising operating profit, equipment reliability and availability through planned maintenance.
  • Collaborating with supervisors and area coordinators to maintain compliance and GCAA Asset Management Framework.
  • Administer computer-based site maintenance system (SAP) to enable safe and reliable coal production.
  • Previous experience using SAP, you will use the program to raise work orders with clear and concise written job instructions.

About you:

  • Previous experience with SAP.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Formal trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering.
  • Knowledge of FMECA, cost management and budgeting.
  • A proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals and standards is crucial.
  • High level of efficiency, resourcefulness, and personal organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
