Mine Technician - Drill & Blast

The Role
The successful person will become a member of a small hardworking and committed team responsible for overseeing and implementing all tasks associated with blasting operations onsite.
 
You will be responsible for:

• Providing labour to support the implementation of drilling schedules, drilling plans and pattern mark ups where required
• Working with the Blast Crew in carrying out blasting operations as per design and schedule
• Assisting with blast reporting so that it is carried out to the required standard
• Personal and professional continuous development within the Blast Crew team
• Assisting other Mining Technicians across the Mining Department as required

About You
This role would suit a qualified and practised individual with blast crew experience in an open pit mining environment. Persons with skilled labour backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
You will also have:

• A Western Australian Dangerous Goods Security Card
• A Western Australian C Class Drivers Licence
• The ability to work autonomously
• Suitable fitness for long field days
