Reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent, the Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the electrical, instrumentation and HVAC/Gasfitter maintenance personnel. This leadership position is responsible to ensure that all employees working under them understand the expectations of SafeWork protocols and are trained and competent to maintain the integrity of our critical infrastructure to enable us to deliver safe, efficient, reliable production.
Accountabilities:
- Promoting of IRS & ensures health, safety and environmental objectives are met, which can include monthly beat inspections, monthly crew meetings, and monthly supervisor meetings.
- Manage and supervise the team ensuring that all people personnel are adequately trained and able to perform their duties safely, to a high standard and in an efficient manner.
- Work with planning to optimize shaft time, and use of material, labour and equipment to achieve site production targets and financial objectives.
- Perform all shift administrative duties (reports, time sheets, investigations, performance reviews, training, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance supervisory or leadership or leadership or leadership experience with a firmly demonstrated commitment to safety, strong leadership and good interpersonal skills.
- Certified tradesperson preferably in the industrial electrician field
- Asset to have knowledge of Koepe/friction production hoists, drives, PLCs and control networks.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interface with others.
- Good computer skulls particularly using Microsoft Office suite and Mincom Ellipse.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday with 10-hour shifts, straight days (Kidd Operations reserves the right to modify working schedules as necessary, in accordance with applicable notice requirements and labor regulations.)
