Mutanda Mining (MUMI S.A.R.L) is a mining company whose registered office is at No. 4746, Avenue Laurent Désiré Kabila, Mutoshi District, Manika Commune, City of Kolwezi. Its operating headquarters, the center of its main activities, is located about 42 km from the city of Kolwezi in the province of Lualaba in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
MUMI S.A.R.L is an open-pit mining site used for the extraction of copper and cobalt ores. Mutanda Mining has a hydrometallurgical plant and a sulfuric acid manufacturing plant.

Main objectives of the position
Under the direct supervision of Talent Attraction and Employer Branding Superintendent, the incumbent of this position is responsible for managing the employer’s reputation and image among job seekers and internal employees through activities to position the company as an employer’s of choice.
Minimum qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A master’s degree is an advantage.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in Human Resources, Employer Branding, Recruitment Marketing, Corporate Communications or a related field
- Experience in managing career HR projects, internships or graduateships
- Experience with graphic design, video editing, or content management systems will be an advantage
Required skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. In both English and French
- Understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and promoting employee engagement.
- Strategic-thinker and passionate about recruitment marketing
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the HRBP and communications teams to define the employer branding strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and values.
- Plan and coordinate recruitment events, job fairs and networking sessions to promote the employer brand
- Represent the organization at external events and forums to improve visibility and attract potential candidates
- In collaboration with the communications team, develop video testimonials, case studies, and blog posts featuring employee experiences to highlight the company's culture and work environment.
- Manage the company's presence on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to interact with potential candidates and promote job openings.
- Develop and manage employee programs that encourage employees to share their positive experiences on social media and other platforms.
- Foster employee engagement initiatives to create a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Promote programs that emphasise employee wellness to improve safety and overall job satisfaction.
- Foster an environment where employees feel encouraged to share their safety concerns and suggestions.
- Comply with Glencore's environmental management requirements and procedures as well as MUMI SARL's environmental policy
