Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide an efficient shared services payroll function to the Coal Assets group. Your accountabilities include end to end processing of the various payrolls and clerical activities.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Management of end-to-end processing.

  • Liaising with key stakeholders.

  • Processing payroll and rectifying any changes and discrepancies.

  • Understand current legislation, awards, agreements, policies, and practices.

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex payroll systems.

  • Interpret varying industrial agreements.

  • Possess strong logical reasoning skills and good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in high pressure, competing priority environments.

  • Experience in a similar role.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the use of SAP.
