We are currently accepting applications for the purpose of filling future opportunities in our Commercial Team.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of purchase and sales contracts, including documentary monitoring of the contract from beginning to end, and coordination of contract changes and corrections;
  • Sales order entry and order changes;
  • Truck and rail car scheduling including warehouse transfer planning and shipment scheduling;
  • Weekly and monthly reporting of shipment status, customer issues, metal production guidance, smelter inventories and sales realizations;
  • Purchase and sales pricing/hedge processing and reporting;
  • Verification of all documents in compliance with Glencore's internal guidelines;
  • Close interaction with worldwide offices for guidance on Charting, Insurance, Finance, Legal and Compliance.

Qualifications

  • Completion of post-secondary education from a recognized institution in a related field such as Commerce, Business Administration, and others;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience;
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred – English (Required), French, (define asset), Chinese or Spanish (nice to have);
  • Strong communication and proven interpersonal skills;
  • Experience working with SAP is a define asset.
