HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD 

Reporting to the Senior Engineer - Opex, you will have the opportunity to act as a technical support in structural matters for Raglan Mine's infrastructure projects.

  • Analyze the needs of internal customers, propose solutions and ensure their implementation.
  • Carry out calculations and certify the capacities of the site's various steel structures.
  • Actively participate in the implementation and monitoring of the site's Structural Integrity Program.
  • Manage and supervise mandates under your responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with current technical rules and standards.
  • Work with external firms to design solutions.
  • Design, sign and seal plans (as required).

 

PROFILE REQUIRED 

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Experience in calculating and certifying the capacity of existing structures, considering degradation, corrosion and environmental factors.
  • Experience in site support, such as design/approval of fall protection systems, capacity validation: floor bearing capacity, lifting structure (an asset).
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
