About the role:
 
Reporting to the Administrator, Training and Development, the Training Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs at Greenhills Operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages competing priorities effectively, and has experience in scheduling and maintaining accurate training records.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies 
  • Represent the company and the Training team positively, upholding EVR’s values
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, including hands-on, classroom, computer-based, and field training tailored to site requirements
  • Conduct operator reviews to enhance skills and ensure safe, productive performance
  • Create and maintain training materials such as documents, PowerPoint presentations, and videos, ensuring training packages are organized and readily available
  • Collaborate with supervisors and departments to assess training needs, prioritize requirements, and develop effective solutions
  • Coordinate training schedules with supervisors and document activities in dashboards
  • Analyze training data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety and operational efficiency
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with operations and maintenance teams to address departmental needs effectively
  • Attend and deliver presentations at monthly safety meetings

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in an industrial environment with exposure to fixed plant operations.
  • Minimum three years of experience in training or mentoring others
  • Strong digital literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite® (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal abilities to engage and inspire diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
  • Ongoing commitment to training and staying current with regulations and standards
  • A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Experience in open-pit mining or a similar environment is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience using a learning management system is an asset
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
