About the role:
 
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable the Administrative Assistant, Accounts Payable will be a crucial part to the success of our business by ensuring our vendors are paid on time and accurately.
 
To be successful, we are looking for self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who works with a high level of integrity and understanding of confidentiality. The successful person has high attention-to-detail, and can adapt, multi-task, prioritize tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will:

  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Assist in facilitating monthly department goals
  • Process and review vendor statements and ensure efficient and accurate processing
  • Identify possible process improvements and investigate value added solutions
  • Maintain strong mine site and vendor relations

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Administration
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • High digital literacy, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite®
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
  • Experience in a fast-paced clerical or accounts payable setting is an asset
Salary: $28 / hour

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
