Assistant Training Officer - Learners
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively coordinating and administering the 18.1 and 18.2 Engineering Learnership Program. Assisting the HR department in coordinating the recruitment, selection and onboarding process of learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the compilation of SLP targets for Engineering Learners, taking into consideration current numbers, turnover and employment equity considerations.
- Assisting with the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of engineering learners and practical trainees.
- Coordinating the placement and training schedules of learners at CTC and Operations.
- Maintaining learner records in accordance with MQA, QCTO, ISO and Learning and Development Policies and Procedures.
- Providing accurate progress reports on all learners as per required monthly and weekly departmental reporting.
- Reviewing Learner feedback to identify areas of improvement.
- Evaluating the Learnership Program and providing inputs for improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Engineering Trade Certificate
- An Assessor Certificate
- ETDP (Education Training & Development Practices) Certificate
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Artisan
- MS Office Proficiency
- Driver’s License (Code EB/08).
- Experience in the mining industry an added advantage
