Job DescriptionWe’re now seeking a motivated and experienced HME Maintenance Supervisor to join our high-performing maintenance team. In this leadership role, you’ll report to the Senior Maintenance Coordinator and be responsible for ensuring our heavy mobile fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
About the Role
As a key leader in the HME team, you’ll take charge of supervising day-to-day maintenance activities—both planned and reactive—across a diverse fleet including haul trucks, dozers, graders, and excavators. Your ability to lead with clarity, support your crew, and maintain a strong safety focus will be vital to the success of our operation.
This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in high-quality work, and fosters a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
A day in the life:
You’ll be trusted to take ownership of key responsibilities, including:
- Provide clear leadership, direction, and day-to-day support to HME maintenance crews and step-up supervisors.
- Coordinate the execution of scheduled maintenance, breakdowns, and component change-outs across a fleet that may include haul trucks, excavators, graders, dozers, and loaders.
- Maintain high standards of safety performance through leadership, coaching, and adherence to procedures and policies.
- Work closely with planners, coordinators, and OEMs to ensure equipment is returned to service safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Monitor and support the technical quality of maintenance work, ensuring compliance with asset strategies and maintenance plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and team performance.
About you:
• A confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical field.
• Hands-on experience with diverse heavy machinery—ideally including HME.
• Proven experience managing teams through high volume maintenance activities.
• Sound working knowledge of SAP and Asset Management systems.
• Completion of Frontline Management qualifications and S1, S2 and G2 training - desirable
