We are looking for an Operational Technology Engineer to join our Engineering team. About the Role:

Reporting to the Statutory Electrical Engineer, this role will be responsible for:

  • Provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day supervision to a team of OT Technicians

  • Coordinating multiple Operational Technology maintenance and project tasks across the site.

  • Ensuring all documentation pertaining to site Operational Technology is maintained to as built status in line with statutory requirements and stored to site standards.

  • Reviewing technical performance to identify areas of poor performance and develop and implement action plans to correct.

  • Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment.

  • Promoting positive relationships with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders & community; and

  • Taking all reasonable steps to minimise impact on the environment.

About you:

  • You have tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related discipline

  • Experience in industrial ethernet, fibre, wireless (802.11), and Wireless Mesh type communication networks

  • You are able to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have a driven personality, are self-motivated and a high-level communicator.

  • You possess strong teamwork, process control and coordination skills which will be utilised within a small dynamic team to meet the legislative requirements, department charter & overall site objectives.

  • You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
