General
We are looking for a person that is business-oriented that will operate across the organization to ensure that communication flows horizontally to and from upstream and downstream processes and teams. This position operates within a broad community of practice that spans operational, technical and change management groups through regular interactions and must be successful in bringing the right people together and gaining agreement and alignment among them. You will be a coach within the information systems organization, acting as a consultant to the consultants.

Key Accountabilities:
- Process optimization: evaluate, redesign, and optimize technology solutions to support supply chain processes, implementing best practices to achieve optimal performance. This takes place during projects, the ongoing application support and enhancement cycle.
- Global harmonized solution: develop solutions to promote adoption of harmonized ways of working across regions and assets while catering for local processes and jurisdictional compliance items. Negotiate agreement of effective global solutions.
- Continuous improvement: foster a culture of continuous improvement to support material management tools and technologies. Encourage innovation and automation, promoting simple solutions and fewest technologies.
- Prototyping and Proof of Concept: Develop prototypes/ proofs of concept to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions. Gather feedback from stakeholders and refine designs.
- Communication and Collaboration: collaborate effectively and provide leadership to ensure alignment across the organization.
- Integration Management: define integration points between SAP MM and other SAP modules or third-party systems. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and process integration across the IS landscape.
- Training: provide training and support to end-users, key stakeholders, and IS teams on MM functionalities, processes and best practices. Support development of documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to solution architecture. Continuously enhance skills and knowledge to remain effective in the role
- The Supply Chain Solution Architect designs end-to-end procurement and inventory management solutions, considering business requirements, best practices and system capabilities. The architect plays a pivotal role in building the technology roadmap, architecting strategies and defining policies and standards. (S)he collaborates with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translates these into functional and technical specifications. The architect is a key advisor to the supply chain and plant maintenance global process owners and regional subject matter experts.
- Works with project teams and the IS support organization, assessing and articulating impacts of solutions on existing technology landscape. The architect plays a pivotal role in the Information Systems organization, advising on new technology opportunities, verifying continuous process improvements implementation. To do so, (s)he stays current with the latest ERP, TMS, WMS, AI trends, proactively identifying opportunities and sharing these with all relevant stakeholder groups.
- The Architect supports change management activities related to projects, upgrades, and enhancements, communicating changes and benefits to stakeholders to promote adoption and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications and requirements (minimum)
- University degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in critical problem-solving
- 10+ years’ expert knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA MM, Fiori apps and cross-functional integration points with SAP suite of products
- Exposure to COUPA source-to-pay processes and understanding of integration with S/4 HANA
Additional Qualifications, Skills & Experience (preferred)
- Deep experience evaluating and advising on technology options
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP MM and other SAP modules, particularly, FI-CO, EAM (PM), PS
- Experience integrating with COUPA
- Proven track record leading SAP MM projects from inception to completion, including solution design, implementation, and post-go-live support
- Understanding of data governance tools and technologies, such as data cataloguing, metadata management and data quality tools
- Experience defining data governance policies, standards and procedures to govern the creation, maintenance and use of data assets
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and reach agreement
- Accustomed to working under pressure and managing planned and unplanned activities
- Bilingualism (English / Spanish) preferred
- Enjoys motivating and mentoring others
- Effective communicator and presenter
- Global, cross-cultural work experience
- CSCP, CPIM certifications
