HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Under the Senior Engineer – Mining Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment that stands out for its health and safety results and is oriented towards new technologies in the mining sector. Your main duties will be:

  • Provide technical support to one of the department's sub-sectors: ventilation, production engineering, or drilling and blasting.
  • Perform follow-ups and contribute to the progress of the various technical projects assigned to you.
  • You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other sub-sectors through site visits or multidisciplinary projects, depending on your skills.
  • Comply with the mine site’s health, safety, and environmental regulations.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's student in Mining Engineering and preferably have completed the first year of the program.
  • Be eligible to complete a recognized internship as part of your program of study.
  • Be able to use softwares of the Office suite, AutoCAD, Promine and Deswik.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and a general explosive permit.
  • Have completed the modular training for mining workers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 (asset).
  • Have working knowledge of both French and English (asset).
