Purpose and Objective

This position will provide legal support to assets and Lima copper corporate office in contracts (working close with supply) and corporate law. Also to provide other legal support as and when required according to the company requirements.

Qualifications

Lawyer Title, registered in any Peruvian attorney Bar (Colegio de Abogados). LLM degree or any other is optional.
Demonstrated oral and written English language proficiency.
Experience in contract matters (civil, commercial law) necessary. With knowledge and experience in administrative, mining, environmental law.
Previous experience in mining companies or law firms/law boutiques in mining/corporate mining departments.

Responsibilities

Contract legal support for the different contracts required for copper projects/operations in Peru and Lima office.
Contract legal support (disputes).
Contract legal support as and when required in contracts negotiation for copper projects/operations and Lima office.
Corporate Law.
General Law advisory in mining, administrative, environmental law, when required.
