About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Fleet Management Supervisor to join our dynamic and successful team. As a valued member of the Technical Services team and reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the fleet and safety technology systems on-site and providing timely advice to key stakeholders on-site to inform production optimisation decisions. This is a key leadership role within the business which offers brilliant longer-term career opportunities.

  • Supervising and leading the site dispatch team to influence decision making, achieve planned outcomes and optimise production performance.

  • Reviewing key production performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement actions to act on them.

  • You will coordinate and work with other departments, tying in all operational performance information and fleet management activities to ensure timely delivery of critical business objectives. 

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Fleet Management (Dispatch / MineStar / Leica) experience in a similar role at a senior level or ready to develop into a leader;

  • Capable of providing direction to the Dispatch Control team and guide them to implement production improvements and daily production goals through the use of the FMS system;

  • Demonstrated, effective computer literacy and analytical skills using Excel / Power BI to clearly deliver information to a broad audience;

  • Well developed interpersonal skills as this role interacts with other departments and all levels of management;

  • Ability to work with multiple external vendors and ticketing systems while managing internal priorities and projects;

  • A flexible attitude and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and solve problems;

  • Willingness to learn and develop skills using Tableau / Spotfire / SQL.
