Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Mine Technical Superintendent to join our established and dedicated team.

Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role
The successful candidate will join a dedicated and industrious team responsible for overseeing a group of skilled professionals.
You will be responsible for:
- Fostering safety culture in supervised sections, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety Management Plans;
- Directly supervise Team Leads for Engineering, Geology and Survey Functions;
- Ensure mine engineering delivers timely and accurate plans, designs and schedules;
- Maintaining mine planning, geology and survey systems and procedures;
- Coordinating with required stakeholders to ensure mine plan achievement;
- Monitoring plan performance and related cost KPIs; and
- Deliver Life of Mine and associated Reserve and Resource Models to meet JORC Industry and Group Standards.
This role would suit a dynamic and seasoned professional in the mining industry, bringing extensive experience and proficiency in mine technical services. You will also have:
- Relevant and recognised tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering;
- Possession of a Western Australia Quarry Manager Certificate of Competency;
- Extensive planning, scheduling and design expertise;
- Hands on proficiency in computerized mine 3D engineer planning and geology systems;
- Proven Technical leader with significant mining industry experience;
- A continuous improvement mantra;
- Strong Technical report writing and presentation capabilities;
- Understanding of Geological Concepts, Models and their generation to allow delivery of quality plans;
- Completed WHS statutory supervisors Risk Management unit and meet applicable WA legislation statutory requirements, examinations and registrations;
- Registered with AusIMM as a recognised Professional Engineer under the JORC code; and
- Valid WA 'C' manual class driver's licence.
