Cleaner (Day Shift)

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Executing all functions safely while complying to all procedural requirements;
• Assisting with loading of electrode paste;
• Assisting with installation of casings;
• Assisting with building the carbon blocks;
• Assisting with breaking of electrode paste;
• Operating service hoist and forklift;
• Assisting with cleaning of furnace trough;
• Assisting with cleaning of furnace floors;.
• Maintaining housekeeping in all areas of responsibility and complying to all HSEC requirements; and
• Assisting when required to act in alternative position to ensure smooth operations.

About you:

• Grade 12;
• Minimum of six (6) months basic production in a Process Plant;
• License for operating service hoist;
• Knowledge of HSEC Systems;
• Proficient in English; and
• Medically fit in terms of OHS Act.
