Controller (Stores) Senior

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Managing warehouse receiving, issuing, storage and stocktaking activities.
• Ensuring stock availability, security and accurate stock control.
• Conducting Material Requirements Planning and monitoring stock levels, cycle counts and variances.
• Controlling purchase orders, delivery documentation and vendor performance.
• Maintaining accurate materials management records and compiling monthly and ad-hoc reports.
• Building effective relationships with internal customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, legislation and HSEC requirements.

About you:

• National Diploma (NQF6) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum five years’ warehouse experience, preferably in the mining industry.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control and procurement.
• SAP and Coupa P2P experience.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of mining operations and mechanical/electrical materials.
• Strong leadership, planning, analytical and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport, with ability to perform standby duties.
